This was our first time trying Xia Ling’s at The Colony Texas. We went over to celebrate my birthday and it was delicious 😋 we ordered the sesame chicken with noodles, it was so crunchy and soft at there same time. The noodles were perfect, and had a delicious garlic and green onion flavor. We also got the general tso chicken with noodles. It wasn’t too spicy but got had a nice kick. We got the dumpling combo to try a little of each. I loved the veggie the most but they were all delicious. The wontons were not my favorite, they were too sweet, but I loved the crunch. Over all, this place was delicious and we’ll definitely be back😊 we give it a 5/5 ⭐️

We tried Xiao Ling’s Noodles & Dumplings in The Colony for the first time and were very impressed. We ordered takeout, and the food was prepared surprisingly fast. The first thing I noticed when I walked inside was the aroma. Everything smelled fresh, comforting, and homemade. It didn’t have that heavy, greasy smell that some takeout places have. The restaurant itself was clean and welcoming, and the staff was friendly. We ordered the General Tso’s Chicken, Orange Chicken, Farmer’s Pepper Beef, and the Colorful Combo Dumplings, which came with two beef, two chicken, two vegetable, and two pork dumplings. Everything was delicious and full of flavor. The Farmer’s Pepper Beef was a little saltier than we prefer, but it was still very good and certainly didn’t stop us from enjoying the meal. The portions were generous, the prices were reasonable, and the quality exceeded our expectations. It’s always exciting to discover a local restaurant that serves fresh, flavorful food at a fair price. We’re definitely coming back to try more dishes from the menu. Highly recommend giving this place a try if you’re in The Colony!

What a great spot for amazing Chinese food! I’ll admit I was a bit skeptical at first, but the generous portions, kind and attentive staff, and overall warm atmosphere won me over completely. I’ll definitely be coming back to support this local gem! Their lunch deal is fantastic, and I highly recommend the steamed milk baos, the animal-shaped ones are too cute not to order. Go show this local business some love!

My friend and I had stumbled upon this restaurant and it was so good! The service was impeccable. They were so attentive and even offered different chili oil to see if we’d like it spicier. Food tasted so good and the atmosphere was relaxing. Couldn’t recommend this place anymore than I already have. Thanks to the amazing staff working there.

I visited Xiao Ling's today and it was almost immediately apparent that this place, easily, had the best Chinese Food in the Colony. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and helpful. I decided on the General Tso's lunch special with Hot & sour soup and an order of the pork soup dumplings. The soup came out quickly and was hot and delicious. Shortly after I finished that my entree arrived, piping hot. Honestly some of the best tasting General Tso's I've had, if a bit mild (for my taste) in spicy heat level. The pork soup dumplings were outstanding, my favorite of all the things we tried today. I definitely will try the crab and pork dumplings next time I visit. Overall it was an outstanding experience. I highly recommend giving this place a try!!
